England Tour August 2026
In August 2026, I will lead a tour of England entitled "England as the Custodian of the Jewish Past," sponsored by Jewish Historical Seminars (JHS), based in Jerusalem. Our main focus will be Oxford, Cambridge, and London, the three great academic centers, whose museums and libraries serve as the curators and custodians of so much Jewish history – from archaeological artifacts related to ancient Israel to c. 230,000 Cairo Geniza documents to sumptously illuminated medieval Hebrew manuscripts.
