Students wishing to study Biblical Hebrew should contact Prof. Gary Rendsburg. Several options are available, including the introductory Biblical Hebrew sequence offered by our neighbors at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary, and online instruction at various levels offered through https://www.biblicalculture.org/.

For those who already know the language, note that Prof. Rendsburg will teach 01:563:433 Readings in Biblical Hebrew Prose in Fall 2024. Students wishing to study Aramaic should contact Prof. Charles Häberl (Religion and AMESALL).

Students can study many more Jewish languages at universities and institutions outside of Rutgers. Some of these programs are in person and some on Zoom.
