Ilana Berkman hails from Manalapan, New Jersey. She was recently inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society and will graduate this year with a major in Classics and three minors: Jewish Studies, History, and Religion.
Yerim Cho hails from South Korea and will graduate this year with a major in Jewish Studies and a double minor in Education and Cognitive Science.
Amy Rosen hails from Flemington, New Jersey and will graduate this year with a major in Linguistics and a double minor in Jewish studies and psychology. This past year, she served as a First-Year Interest Group Seminar Peer Instructor for which she developed a course called “Exploring Linguistics & Speech & Hearing Sciences.” She also completed a senior honors thesis in Linguistics on word learning and gesture use among bimodal bilinguals and monolingual English speakers, and she presented her research at the Undergraduate Linguistics Symposium at UC Berkeley in April.

Ilana Berkman is graduating with a major in Classics and three minors: Jewish Studies, History, and Religion.
Ilana Berkman received two awards: The Baruch S. and Pearl W. Seidman Award for excellence in Jewish studies and the Reitman Family Award for research in Jewish studies. The latter award will help support her attendance this June at the Association of Jewish Libraries’ Annual Conference in Philadelphia. She ultimately hopes to earn a master’s degree in Library Science and work at a Jewish institution.

Yerim Cho is received the Bernice and Milton I. Luxemburg Student Award for excellence in Jewish studies.
Reese Feldman is a double major in Statistics and Political Science. Her work in Jewish Studies has primarily focused on learning the Hebrew language. After graduating, she hopes to work in the political sphere as a data analyst, helping to shed light on voting behavior. She received the Gertrude and Jacob Henoch Memorial Award for excellence in Jewish studies.
Reese Feldman is a double major in Statistics and Political Science. Her work in Jewish Studies has primarily focused on learning the Hebrew language.
Christine Jensen, a former Jewish Studies and Religion double major, is completing her master of religion degree as part of the 4+1 Religion M.A. program at Rutgers. She received two awards today for research in Jewish studies. In December Christine received the Betty and Julius Gillman Memorial Award that helped her attend the virtual Biblical Hebrew Workshop through the Jewish Theological Seminary over winter break. Today she is receiving the Deborah S. and Herbert B. Wasserman Award that will support her attendance at a Hebrew Manuscript Workshop at Oxford University this summer. She will begin a Ph.D. program in Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University in the fall and hopes to become a professor.
Christine Jensen, a former Jewish Studies and Religion double major, is completing her master of religion degree as part of the 4+1 Religion M.A. program at Rutgers.
Brooke Ramos receives her certificate and gift from Professor Paola Tartakoff.
Brooke Ramos, a double major in Jewish Studies and English with a minor in Holocaust Studies, received the Dr. Benjamin F. and Lillian Glasser Award for excellence in Jewish studies. She will begin an internship shortly with the Bildner Center assisting in the work of the Herbert and Leonard Littman Families Holocaust Resource Center. She is considering post-graduate study in social work and Holocaust education.

He believes that this academic background will help him achieve success as a future journalist writing about national and international news.
