The Betty and Julius Gillman Memorial Student Support Fund
Emily is currently working on a research project for her Master’s thesis on "Memory and Identity: The Adult Children of Intermarriage and Their Narratives." Her study is based on the analysis of in-depth interviews she conducted with individuals who grew up with one Jewish parent and one parent of another cultural-religious origin and other sources on identity formation and intergenerational memory and American Jewish culture.

Jake worked on an honors thesis with Professor Gary Rendsburg. He developed a website for the Book of Ben Sira.

During this academic year, Gabe has been working on a Jewish Studies honors thesis, with Dr. Eddy Portnoy, where he researched historical and contemporary instances of satirical treatments of Adolf Hitler in popular culture.
