Internships
The annual Rutgers Jewish Film Festival features international films and special guests, including directors and scholars. This highly anticipated fall event is attended by over 5,000 members of the Rutgers community and the general public. The ten-day festival requires year- round planning.
Festival Intern (summer and/or fall)
The Rutgers Jewish Film Festival is seeking one or two interns to work on the annual festival. Responsibilities vary by semester and may include:
* Research potential films
* Research target audiences for films
* Assist with preparation of marketing material, including website, brochure, press releases and development of social media.
* Assist with festival speakers, including directors and scholars, e.g. logistics, publicity, etc
* Assist with special programming around film screenings
* Organize and maintain film library
Interns will acquire marketing and event planning experience. Ideal candidates must be detail oriented, creative, able to work independently, and have marketing experience. No Jewish background required. All majors are encouraged to apply. Work 8-10 flexible hours per week in a fun, fast-paced environment. Interns may be eligible to receive academic credit.
