Recently published Outsiders in 19th Century Press History: Multicultural Perspectives. This summer she won the Simon Rockower Award from the American Jewish Press Association for her work on Trude Weiss-Rosmarin, editor and publisher of The Jewish Spectator. Reed’s research was supported by a fellowship at the American Jewish Archives in Cincinnati.
