Requirements for the Hebrew Language Minor

Hebrew language minors must complete six 3-credit courses (18 credits total) in Hebrew language and literature, three of which (9 credits total) must be at the 300 or 400 level. Entering students must take the departmental placement exam. Two of the six courses may be transferred, subject to departmental approval. Students may include among the six courses any courses in classical Hebrew (biblical, rabbinic, etc.). A student may not major in Jewish Studies and minor in Hebrew Language at the same time.
